The Camino is a 10-day, 260-kilometer supported slack-pack walk scheduled to coincide with the annual Namaqualand wildflower season. This journey takes you through a spectacular inland route in the western part of the Kamiesberg Klipkoppe to the coastal section of the Namaqua National Park. The days spent along the coast feature easy walks with plenty of time to enjoy the unspoiled Namaqualand coastline. As a slack-pack walk, a tent, stretcher, mattress, and comfortable camping chair are provided for each participant. Daily stages range between 21 and 30 km, with camp pitched at a different location each night. Please note: This walk can be challenging at times, so advance preparation is essential to ensure you are walking fit.
